Lunchtime Arrangements
Children can either bring a packed lunch or have a hot school lunch, which currently costs £2.80 and is both ordered and paid for online via the SCOPAY website or app under the balances/dinner money tab.
ALL Key Stage 1 children (Years R, 1 & 2) are offered school lunch FREE OF CHARGE and we would encourage parents to take advantage of this. These meals will still need to be ordered in advance and online.
Allergen Free Menus
Allergen free lunches are an integral part of our catering provision, whether as a result of an ethical or religious belief or a food intolerance or allergy. To register any requirements please complete the Aspens allergy & lifestyle notification form and return to the school office as soon as possible. Please note, Aspens can only feed your child from the allergen free menu if you register them as having an ethical or religious belief or a food intolerance or allergy.

We ask parents not to include nuts or nut related products (e.g. peanut butter or Nutella) in lunchboxes as they pose potential risks to health with a number of children in school having serious nut allergies. We are also a sesame free school and ask you to check houmous ingredients and sushi for example, before adding into packed lunch boxes.
Please note that fizzy drinks, thermos flasks and glass bottles or containers of any kind are not allowed in school.
Food for Aspens school meals continues to be locally sourced wherever possible and Aspens are committed to the healthy agenda and to providing high quality food. Please check out the Family information pack.
