Attendance at Kings Worthy
Kings Worthy Primary School believes that good attendance at school supports a child in achieving their full potential, as well as having a positive attitude to education and lifelong learning. We are committed to working with parents, carers, staff, students and governors to building a school which serves our Kings Worthy community well.
Good attendance at school is a prerequisite for successful education and it is the intention of this policy to achieve and maintain high rates of school attendance at Kings Worthy Primary School.
Our aim is for every child to achieve at least 96% attendance every academic year.

Key Timings
Children who arrive between 8:55am and 9:05am are marked as Present (/) or left blank. | Children who arrive between 9:05am and 9:25am are marked Late (L). | Children who arrive after 9:25am are marked as Unauthorised Absence (U). |
